Budget / Backpackers Accommodation
Sand and Sea Guesthouse
Conveniently located next to the Koh Kood Divers dive shop in Bang Bao Bay, we highly recommend Sand and Sea Guesthouse as a great budget choice. With a variety of guesthouse rooms, air-con, and private bungalows available, rooms are spacious and clean and there is also a nice little restaurant serving great food. You reach the guesthouse by crossing a bridge over the Klong (river) which gives a secluded and private feeling.
Prices start from 500THB.
Klong Chao Resort
A good budget choice for Koh Kood. Klong Chao Resort offers big rooms which are fairly comfortable and not bad value for money. It is located on the river close to Klong Chao Waterfall. The waterfall can be reached by foot or by kayak, and is a perfect oasis to swim and cool off. Klong Chao Resort does look pretty run down, but that adds to the low-key, unpretentious charm. It’s a family run place by locals who have spent their lives on the island, fishing its waters.
The bungalows are basic with prices starting from
450 THB and include breakfast.
Mangrove Resort
Mangrove is a friendly and beautifully kept little resort consisting of both fan and air-con bungalows situated next to the Klong (river). It has a great restaurant serving very good Thai food which is romantically set over the river. This is one of the few restaurants which stays open even throughout the rainy season. Mangrove has a lovely atmosphere with well kept gardens and helpful staff. You can rent kayaks here for a paddle along the Klong and up to Klong Chao Waterfall. The owners can even take you to see the fireflies in the evening.
Prices range from 800-1500 THB
NgamKho Resort
A wonderful backpacker choice is NgamKho, which is located in the next bay from Bang Bao. The Resort is directly on the beach and they have their very own private beach/bay with good snorkeling and you can rent kayaks by the hour or day. The bungalows all have sea view and are again basic Thai style and very clean and comfortable. You can also pitch your tent here too if you would like.
Prices range from 600 THB. Highly recommended.
Mid-Range Accommodation
The Beach Natural Resort
Also located on Aow Bang Bao and conveniently close to Koh Kood Divers, this resort is set in a Bali style, blended with Thai culture. It is a graceful setting with many flowers and orchids. A peaceful paradise with a choice of sunset, garden or beach sea view bungalows and villas. Prices range from 1,200 THB for a sunset fan room – 3,400 THB for a beachside seaview Deluxe. There are also 5-8 person villas for families or larger groups. Rates include breakfast.
Siam Beach Resort
Located close to home on our very own Bang Bao Beach, Siam Beach Resort offers reasonably priced beach side bungalows – typically Thai style with an option of Fan or Air-Con.Rooms again are basic but comfortable with stunning sunset views.
This place is great value for money with a superb location. Larger family bungalows are also available on request.

Neverland Beach Resort
A popular choice and great value for money. Neverland Beach Resort is set on the beautiful Aow Jark and offers cute and rustic bungalows with friendly staff and delicious Thai food in its restaurant. The resort is surrounded by spectacular views of nature on both sides. There is a choice of river view bungalows from 1,600 THB, seaview bungalows from 1,900 THB, garden villas priced from 2,300 THB, or you can even pitch your tent for 500 THB!

Koh Kood Resort is an exclusive boutique resort facing the clear crystal waters of Aow Bang Bao.
